Have you ever been going about your daily business, rushing through your “to do” list, pulling your hair out in stress and fatigue? Then suddenly you find yourself having blessedly quiet, contemplative moment… Only to find yourself wondering, where the heck did I go? Who am I? What happened to the young, carefree, outgoing person I used to be? I miss my old self. I truly do. Life was easier as my old self, and socializing was my only interest. Now given the chance to socialize, or nap, I am more inclined to jump for the nap! Such is the life of young moms (or dads!) everywhere. We dance along our merry way, being young and unfettered, until we find that person that we always think is “the one”, end up making some whoopie, and woops!!! Nine months later we get a perfect little surprise, wrapped up in a screaming, wrinkled little package!
